    Default System restore

    A few days ago Katydid made a post re Safemode. . In one of the replies Danger duggested she should try "System Restore" Excuse my ignorance but in normal mode how do apply "System Restore ? [ OS W98SE]

    Willbry, system restore is not available to Win95, 98 or 98SE, NT or Win2K. It was introduced into Windows ME and is also available to Windows XP.

    System Restore does a token gesture of backing up important Registry info and them if something goes wrong you can roll back to a previous point.
