    Default reference last cell in an excel column

    i wish to use this facility but can't seem to get it to operate.
    can you please confirm the formula as listed or any other things i may be over looking.

    not sure if you are still waiting found this

    =LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E+307,worksheetname!column id:columnid)

    e.g.

    =LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E+307,Monthly!E:E)

    Not sure if you noticed the date on that post you replied to ... but it is over 6 years old now. Good of you to offer help, but it is safe to assume they have given up waiting for an answer.
