    Default A calendar

I would like to have a monthly calendar permantly on my desktop as part of my wall paper. How do I achieve this with Windows 98?

Not sure that this is your ultimate, but freeware site
will provide you with an excellent solution: TClockex.exe, which will
    a) put a date and time in the bottom right hand corner of your screen and
b)provide an instant calendar when you click on it.
Have a play with its 'stay on top' and location options - it may also do just what you want. I think it's great!
