I have a Dynalink VoicePro internal modem that was firmware upgraded to V90 last year when I was running Win95. I have recently up(down!)graded to Win98 and now Windows only recognises my modem as a Standard Modem. The consequences of this appear to be a much slower connection time to my ISP. Once connected things appear OK and also appear OK with Bitphone recognising the correct modem. I have tried resetting the firmware back to K56Flex but get the same response when trying to update the driver. Is there a fix for this problem? Dynalink are dragging their heels and have not responded in over a week to my question.
