Default Virus - jdbgmgr.exe - Grey Teddy Bear

I appear to have received a virus despite a firewall and updated antivirus software. I have deleted the file from my system - but I would like to know whether that is sufficient to have stopped any further damage. I received anl email of my own (returned) with random hash and number codes in the text of the message that I had sent. The person at the other end saw nothing wrong with my original message.
    I would appreciate any advice
    Regards

correct me if i'm wrong but that sounds like that fake virus email. jdbgmgr is a legit file.

don't always beleive the virus email warnings mates send you.

You have a job on your hands to restore your system!

That is a hoax message, it is part of the java compiler on your system and not a virus.

Goto this link, for step by step instructions on restoration.

    http://netsquirrel.com/msconfig/java.html

A quick search of the filename on www.google.co.nz (or any search engine) will almost bury you in warnings not to delete this.
