My sister showed me two emails she has received in the last two days. They are porn catalogues (to each their own), however they are unsolicited and what is strange is that they aren't even addressed to her! The email address is totally different (same ISP)yet it arrived in her mail. The letters ask her to respond with the usual 'remove' but I told her I felt she shouldn't reply at all. She has contacted Xtra and all they could tell her was that the address was non-existant, and that she should reply with the 'remove'. I'm sure I read a warning in one of the magazines to be wary of doing this. To top it off the email is several months old. Viewing the message source reveals no trace of my sisters address at all. I feel Xtra have let her down badly so does anyone have any helpful suggestions for her?
