retrieve picture file

i have deleted some picture files from recycle bin, is it possible to retrieve them? i am using windows xp. thanks.

You could try Undelete from Norton Utilities if you have it. It would need to be on your HDD already - don't try to instal it now because you might overwrite the deleted graphics blocks. I don't know if Win XP includes the Lock command (can anyone else answer this)? If it does you could try running a DOS version of NU from a floppy but I don't think it could handle a 32-bit FAT. You could also try booting up from a DOS 6.2 boot disc and running NU from a floppy but I would expect that to fail for the above reason.
