So, what do we do with 12 year olds doing adult crimes ?
Surely this person cannot be simply handed back to parents/caregivers .

At what stage do the rights of the victims get priority over rights of young criminals
ie , my right not be be a victim of young criminals who cant be jailed

So, what do we do with them ? (arrest the parents for a start)

Punish the little shits severely. Unfortunately NZ does not permit young euthanasia. These scum are well on the way to a life of crime costing tax payers millions supporting them in and out of prison.. A lethal injection at an early age would be far more cost effective and hopefully act as a deterrent to other wannabes plus the added benefit of protecting society.

Take their clothes off them and tie them up in the town square for their contemporaries to point and laugh at them.

While they are there, bring back the birch and flay the skin off them. If they survive, they may not want to repeat the performance. If they don't survive, the euthanasia may be considered to be successful.

Oh and do the same to the parents and siblings too. They are probably all equally criminal.

Alternatively, set them to digging the Cook Strait tunnel — by hand.
