Do we get this tv series here, it looks interesting. The link is from the NY Times and gifted here via my subscription. It may or may not work from a forum.

Looks like it's on Apple TV+ service here.

Legally ???
So legally, yes it’s on Apple TV+. Apples
Subscription service. Or are you asking if they want it legally or otherwise
If a show is on broadcast T.V. where I could watch it for free anyway, I'll download it instead to avoid the mind-numbing advertising.
Either way, nobody's getting a cent from my viewing, so the method is irrelevant.
If its on Apple TV and you don't have a subscription then you have to pay for it ( legally) there's a 7 day free trial then costs $8.99/ Month. So if you watch all 9 episodes within a week then cancel the subscription before the 7 days are up it shouldn't cost you any thing.
The only other way to watch it is look for someplace that people have uploaded to various sites ( illegal).
The free trial would be better, you can watch a few episodes and if you don't like it cancel. The trailer kind of looks "interesting"

Just adding to above, if you have an apple account ( don't need apple devices - just create an account) I only have it from using Itunes. You can watch the 1st episode for free.

Another option is to rent it from the library.
They have many T.V. shows and the prices are better than the old video rental places used to be.
The only problem is you obviously have to wait until it comes out on disc, which may or may not happen for newer shows these days.
