Even if they ship to you OK, another problem is what if you need warranty work?

Do you have to send it back to Italy?

Will Uniden NZ handle it, or deny responsibility because you purchased overseas?

I wont be buying from that supplier.
However if you want something not available in NZ, what choice do you have.

If it's not available then sure, that's the only way to go.

But sometimes for the convenience of local warranty repair etc, it's better to buy in NZ even if it costs a bit more.

My rule for online purchases is never to committ more money than I can afford to lose should the transaction fail to be forfilled for any reason.
