Outlook emails all going into Important folder, not Inbox.

Why is it doing it and how to stop it.

Outlook.com or Outlook the office program.

If its Outlook.com in settings you can get rid of the important folder

Ensure you move or delete any emails in the "Important" folder before starting.
If using MS Outlook you might want to read the following:

Note in Step 2 the procedure says Select "Settings" from the drop down list, on the later versions of Gmail you actually select "See All Settings"
Then carry on with the procedure
