An easier way just came out using the new Rufus 3.16 BETA 2. Has an option to strip out the pc check when you burn the iso to a flash drive. Havnt tried it myself yet.

Thats really interesting.Have to give it a go.
One thing I noticed, the Cumulative update that Microsoft pushed out today, it was there for both Windows 11 that does AND Doesn't meet the requirements.
Its possibly just easier for MS to do that .
I doubt they care that a few enthusiasts found a way to install 11 on unsupported hardware . Over the next 5 years those numbers will be so low as a %
It may be the unofficial reality for Win11 . Similar to how MS never stopped the 'free' Win10 upgrades from Win7 after the free period ended .
Just an update on the the New Rufus Beta, Fresh install on a non compliant PC --- Downloaded the ISO from Microsoft -- 1st tried it without any bypass options and it refused to install, then tried using the New Option in rufus that removes the restrictions and installed without any warning. There's a new setting you need to select:
There may still be a few "bugs" in rufus - The 1st time it didn't alter the ISO, so did it again, this time it worked.
Both times ( altered version) It also popped up with a message relating to having to disable Secure boot in the BIOS, fully explained

The new "image Option " in rufus is missing for me.
Downloaded the Beta 2 , a few times, still not here , that 'image option' doesnt appear after I select the new Win11 ISO .
Has MS changed the ISO to stop this working ? .
Here' where I downloaded from ( after a google Search) The 1st exe in the list.

The Option for the Windows 11 "Extra options" Doesn't show until the ISO was selected.
Example: 1st pic - No USB attached or ISO Selected. 2nd Pic Options now available.

The ISO I got from Microsoft Directly yesterday Morning, under (Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO)) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows11
I used the new Rufus yesterday (no longer BETA). Installed W11 on a HP Stream G3, 1.6 ghz x2 cpu, 4 GB RAM, 56 GB emmc drv. It installed with no problems, but missing a lot of drivers which W10 has. Could install them manually from HP if I liked. Much to my surprise it activated.
It will have activated because if it had W10 on previously it will have picked up the digital licence linked to the hardware. W11 still allows activation on W7 onwards keysI used the new Rufus yesterday (no longer BETA). Installed W11 on a HP Stream G3, 1.6 ghz x2 cpu, 4 GB RAM, 56 GB emmc drv. I did an install on an old Vista Notebook , using rufus created bootable USB .
11 ran surprising well on that old Vista . It actually gave it a new lease on life .
Forcing a Live linked a/c was a pain . Dont see why that needed to be compulsory when they give you the option to then go & convert
it to a local a/c .
