Used to love KFC but it's god awful now.

Miss the slightly sweet rolls KFC used to have- they're tasteless now. Still pretty good potato and gravy and slaw tho.

There's a place at the Bush Inn center in Christchurch called Roast Ease- mostly makes Roast Meals but they do the best normal fried chicken boxes I've ever had in NZ. KFC could learn a thing a two.

I like the coleslaw...but the supermarkets do the same kind now too, and less liquid in the bottom of the container. And cheaper.

The chicken, well never liked the skin.........do like the herbs etc....mostly I make it myself and don't fry it.

KFC is greasy stuff. Once a year or so, we have it sitting on the beach on the Marine Parade. Lovely there under the Pohutukawas. Then we say, yuk, why did we buy that.
We buy a 1 KG packs of frozen spicy chicken pieces at Pak n Save.. Think it's called Louisiana chicken. Beautiful flavour!

As for Macca's. It is said that it tastes the same the whole world over. That being the case, there a whole lot of people who have no taste. I find it awful!

The line was so long it filled the carpark and was spilling on to Lincoln Rd"

Now we know why some people buy all the toilet paper -- After eating real food for a month or more, the crap takeaways will give you the Sh1ts !!!

Those fast food chains have the worst chips ever.
Barely warm , greasy or just soggy . You'd think multinational companies could manage to serve us HOT chips, but no.
    Tiny portions , overpriced

I prefer a McDonalds burger to a gas station pie :-)
Sometimes just need that hot meal in a hurry .

In 1971 I was flatting in Symonds St, Royal Oak, Auckland the street where NZ' first KFC opened. I remember seeing queues (on foot) 100 + yards long.
Obviously a very successful Advert campaign.
