    Default Which scanner??

Last month I began looking for a scanner (and am still lokking). I originally thought that one with built in transparency scanning would be good but have since come to the conclusion that it's not worth the extra.

    SO!

Who uses what scanner out there? What recommendations? What's good about them? What's bad about them? I'm looking for one AT LEAST 1200 x 600 optical.

Consumer magazine did an article in August 2001. On-line at:

    http://www.consumer.org.nz/topic.asp...nttype=summary

(Ye Gods! How DO they come up with such long addresses?!)

The summary is on the web, full details available for purchase. Incidentally, our local library stocks the magazines.
