Watched next to nothing apart from what was on TV during lunch the other week.

There was a program on TV the other night, Could have been Have you been paying attention ?? But they asked questions about "Different Sports" that have been in the Olymics.

Up came an option " ART" Seriously ?? But apprantly YES it was From 1912 to 1948.

From 1912 to 1948 rules of the art competition varied, but the core of the rules remained the same. All of the entered works had to be inspired by sport, and had to be original (that is, not be published before the competition). Like in the athletic events at the Olympics, gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to the highest ranked artists, although not all medals were awarded in each competition. On a few occasions, in fact, no medals were presented at all.

Now that would be a riviting event

Most of the sailing events are raced in identical boats. For example in the laser class they are all made in the same factory and you are only allowed to change the one rope (main sheet) that you hold to pull the sail in or let it out.

I don't watch sport. To me, it's s thing far more fun to do than to watch.
    Even the olympics.

My mum has watched quite a bit, she watched all the gymnastics for instance.

I read. A lot. Radio, no.
    Net, yep....here:

What some of the sports to the body. OMG! Cyclists especially.

I've been watching old things...Charite most recently, all about the docs that came up with Diphtheria vaccine, TB (not quite a success) and so on. A dramatisation, but true.
    It was very good.

I'll add to the ban list..

Any sport or country that requires competitors to wear bikinis or etc, just for benefit of males to perv at them.
Yes, pervy skimpy attire a requirement . They are athletes not fake bikini models .

What do you mean, "the English version"? Is there another version? I don't understand.

The Olympics isn't so great now. The competition though, it still is great.
