B.M, replace Maori with Religion, how do you feel about that, as much of that is already happening?

NZ Treasury have stated NZ is on track to an unsustainable 2Trillion dollar debt .
NZ : On track to being the next Greece , with debt that can never be paid back
All so easy be be a great place to live , when living off borrowed money .

So where's Jacinda's plan , so that your children & grandchildren wont be paying off our Govt debt ?
Her plan is to keep spending what we dont have .

The bad news is that if this Labour or National govt took steps to set the country right, they would get bowled out of office so quick you wouldn't see them for dust!

Reep what you sow I guess .

Once the spending & handouts are established , its politically very hard to stop them .
And then the see saw effect of reversing previous Govt policies when getting into power .
We could have had 'Kiwisaver' 50 years ago (we sort of did ) , that could have made a big difference .

Its also local councils. They literally borrow & spend untill they can borrow no more. No thought to how debt is going to be paid back .
One Ak mayor took steps to try & bring spending under control , he was opposed every step of the way & voted out . So now Ak Council debt is out of control .

Sorry bogan, but you're going to have to explain that to me as I can't see the relationship between Maori and Religion.

The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche
