Default At Least We're in the Right Country

Why Silicon Valley billionaires are prepping for the apocalypse in New Zealand:

Moderately interesting, if a bit out of date, with a good picture of an elated Jacinda, thank God she's running things and not the bitter and twisted old men we've had in charge in the past, her team is doing well too re. the Covid problem.

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

Yes, David Lange, Moore, Clarke , Palmer

Just as well we have a labor Party thats constantly lying to us, hiding facts that dont suit .
Juscinda: acting just like most dictators do . Propaganda isnt fact.

The left wing news reporters are too scared to ask the hard questions, as she'll then shut them out if they do their job and hold govts to account.
"The most honest & open Government" : the biggest lie yet .

Lange - a fool, let the Right take over the Labour Party and got us into the present predicament, by taking it up the a... from both Prebble and Douglas (trickle-down - what a laugh), Moore - a fiddler and dabbler, Clarke - quite good really, Palmer - weak intellectual old fool.

The one you didn't mention Key, bitter and twisted, only in it for the money, toady of management everywhere.

They were all Politicians, not one a Statesman!

The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

You mean the already-a-multi-millionaire Key who didn't take a salary as PM, instead donating most or all of it to charity?

That's around 200,000/year isn't it, peanuts compared to what him and his mates made collaborating in business together and dabbling in the stock market.

So you've moved now from politics to business in general to suit your position?

My whole contention since I've been on PressF1 is that the people running the country are interested in money and running the country as a business not running the country with business as a part of the economy to benefit the people.

But you seem to believe that our current lot of leaders are all pure and lily white?
