One minor issue with emclinet I have , is when I first open it , I have to wait before it will open the first email its just downloaded
ie open emclinet, it downloads new emails , I then have to click click click click click click click click on that 1st email to get it to open . There is a definite lag. After that its OK

I wonder just whats its up to in the background when I start it , phoning home I'll bet : sending 'telemetry ' data .

Now if you were using IMAP instead of POP, this would have happened automatically.

    Found a possible answer:
By default if you are using an IMAP email account, EMClient will download the message headers first, and then only download the actual email message body (when you click on the Message).

You can change an IMAP account setting in EMClient to “download messages for offline use” which will then download the message body before you click / open the messages.

Go to - Tools > Accounts > IMAP, “Download messages for offline use”
