Problem with BitComet

Hi,

I have an issue to run BitComet.

Each time when I search something, a window only shows as shown in attachment.

Does anyone knows how to solve this issue?

Yeah dont search Via the torrent program. Just installed and tested, the only inbuilt search that works is Thepiratebay, everything else doesn't work.

I would recommend only qBittorrent or Transmission.

All the rest seem to have turned into bloatware or adware or otherwise steaming piles of garbage.

For searching, you need to find decent websites. Most of them are best viewed with an ad-blocker (I recommend uBlock Origin) at least.

why ? Serious question.

VPN's dont all give the anonymity & privacy you'd expect .
and VPN service providers are all too willing to hand over all their logs when authorities start knocking on their door

And unless you are 100% sure you know exactly who is actually running that VPN service ......

Because many VPNs advertise on pirate sites and tell you you need to use their product
