    Update.

Norwegians predicted 22mm for yesterday, back on Thursday, and we got 25.4mm.

Iím going to give them a pass on that.

In the meantime we got Severe weather and flood warnings from our Met Service none of which happened up here.

As an aside, years ago I got caught in a real storm whilst driving down the Bruce Highway in Aus.

Cauloundra copped 84mm in One Hour and I thought I was dead.

Anyone interested can read about it HERE.

    Now thatís real rain.

All this is a moot point when 5G comes in and swamps the weather satellites with interference anyway.

For those who will faithfully record the dates and actual weather, it may be prudent to keep in mind Ken's forecasts are often made weeks, months and sometimes years in advance. His events are never claimed to be 100% accurate, and in actuality may be several days sooner - or later - than the indicative date(s).

    Wet month looming

Astrologically speaking, heavy rain around 1 June may begin the month, due to the conjunction of a couple of key planets.

Well for what it's worth Ken started with a hiss and roar for the South Island, especially Canterbury and surrounds, but was a flop for Tauranga where we've hardly had enough rain to get the washing wet.

I'm looking forward to around 12th June to see how the wind works out. Maybe the old "Equinoctial Gales" are running early or late?

I thought the equinox is around September 23, so to talk about June 12 is another Tauranga red herring and you must demonstrably be confused.

Yes I am aware that we have two Equinox, one in March and one in September.

Years ago we used to get a lot of wind around the time of the Equinox and this was referred to as the Equinoctial Gales.

Now Ken is predicting Gales in June and I was being sarcastic about these gales possibly having moved about 3 Months, forward or back, thanks to Climate Change.
