Spinach isnt so bad, unless you boil the crap out of it. Just eat it raw .

why couldnt it be a cabbage shortage instead ?

Spinach not silverbeet...spinach is sifter....also doesn't grow as well as silverbeet. Silverbeet grows like a weed, in anything, anywhere.
Not interested in either now...it's still salad season plus we have beans going now.

The two are often used interchangeably even if they are not the same.
Anyway, I wouldn't have been able to crack my rather feeble joke otherwise.
