I usually just disable sleep mode , sometimes more trouble than its worth.
Either shut it down or leave it running with power save on monitor only .

Do you have any Logitech software installed ?
That makes a lot of sense to me. I find myself however being a bit OCD about these things and I keep going until I have sorted out the problem one way or another.
A network cable is connected & onboard wifi is active.
Logitech gaming software is installed.
A G27 wheel control is connected.
Keyboard & mouse are wired.
Just tried the system.
Havent touched it since Wednesday.
Sleep mode is now working.
An update to this if anyone is interested.
If my Logitech G27 is connected, the system will not enter sleep mode.
If I disconnect it, it will enter sleep mode.
