    Default WiFi Extender

    Hi

I've decided to buy the Netgear WiFi Range Extender AC 1200 and setup seems quite straight forward. But I have a problem. I followed setup instructions according to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWbOygUGE_0. Everything works fine up to 2:38. When I click on Netgear connection, my standard connection turns off and it says, you have to connect to the internet first.

Can somebody please help me. Many thanks.

Have a read of the Trouble Shooter page, may be of some help, has some options as well.

In The past Some of the Netgear I dealt with have had to be manually connected Via Ethernet Cable. But this one should connect using the default Web Address.

That is interesting, I haven't experienced that before.

The line "In your web browser’s address bar, enter the extender's default IP address: 192.168.1.250" from the Trouble Shooter page did the trick.

    A thousand thanks.

No Problem. Sometimes the Instructions given by the manufactures don't work ( They should). Had that Yesterday, was setting up a Voice Controlled Light in the lounge - Instructions on Connecting didn't work, but saw another option and it did
