How to watch the America's Cup from Aussie?

A friend of mine, a keen yachtsman, wants to watch the Cup in Melbourne. Apparently, there is zilch television or newspaper
coverage at the moment in Aussie. My wife and I have suggested getting the TVNZ Channel 1 app, or tuning in to TV on Demand.
Would that be the best way, do you think?

TVNZ will be blocked from overseas. They’d have to see who the Australian content providers are.

Fox sports Australia seem to be the main one
Oh, they’re all streamed live on YouTube. Even I’ve played with that. Us commentators (better than ours IMO) and there’s also a virtual eye stream.

It's kind of like watching paint dry...husband has watched some. I can only sit there for a few minutes.

Now the Sydney to Hobart, thats what I call a yacht race!
