Well I haven't bought one since 1998....it just got upgraded, ok not much left....except my DOS disks.

It's hard to answer at your question, because I'm 19 yet, but I have a laptop that I use for 12 years and a grill that have more than 15 years)

I have to comment on our bed issue.
The thing we got is a $139 slat bed from Trademe(new). No doubt a made in china thing. I had to assemble it.
There was one issue with the centre rail, I had to reinforce it...but....OMG it was so awesome, utterly brilliant. Same mattress, but what a difference.
Best sleep we've had in ages and no sore back this morning.

Too many to name, here is just a few:
1. my 32 years old little fan heater, still serving me well in winter to warm my feet.
2. F&P Fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, mower, Makita circular saw, black&decker power drill, and most of my hand tools are all over 20 years old.

i still have a few things from the 90's. stereo speakers, duvet, heater, clothes dryer. computer desk and chair from early 2000's which i'm using right now.
still continue to use plenty of tools. still got my first ones i bought in the 90's.
still use the engine out of the vehicle i bought around 2000.
