A Fisher & Paykel fridge/freezer (about 33 years old) and a hammer (about 40 years old) left behind by my wife's first husband. (thanks, Tony)

SWMBO says she has had me for nearly 3 of those 20s. Said she doesn't know whether the raffle ticket she won me with, was worth the 6d she paid.

It's not always a good thing. My mum was using a fryer...I tossed the chips, offending her, had it 20 yrs she said, using it for 20 yrs she said.
    Oh yes.
I took it apart after trying 3 sinkloads and still not getting it clean.
This lump fell out...like dark brown soap....

Not changed the oil in 20 yrs?? I said to my brother, as she used olive oil too, it's amazing it didn't catch fire and he said yes it used to.
We no longer have a fryer at all. I do oven chips.

Lounge suite (30 years), car ('94 Toyota Celica, coming up 20 years this year), lawn mower (Rover - just died a few weeks back, 30 years), deep fryer (at least 30 years), coffee table (20 years plus),
stereo (20 years plus - tape decks no longer work due to perished belts) ...

Probably some other things as well.

    Merry Christmas All :-)

Around the place there's great grandchildren older than that; it's safe to say they're in daily use but none have even had new batteries yet. . . .
