    Default Happy Xmas

I was looking for a mattress a while ago. Didn't find one but I investigated the bed properly....and it was the base.

A box spring base. Can't complain it's 40 years old. It did well, not even an expensive one at the time.
Anyway a lot easier finding a base...I have chosen a slat bed base.

And my mum helped with finances, so even though she'd be horrified, happy xmas!!!

And to all PF1ers....have a great holiday period and may you all get whatever it is you;'re looking forward to.

    Yeah merry xmas y'all.

I bought a lamb leg roast at Countdown this am and it's the 1st one I've bought in years.

So that's my xmas day sorted. That, and alcohol. Looking forward to it.

    And Snoopy's Xmas.

Looking forward to the free hot pools on Christmas day for staff and family, but then we get free entry anyway since SWMBO works in the attached info centre.

Other than that I hate Christmas its another stolen holiday re-badged and all the looneys are on month release from the funny farm so from Wednesday this week I will barely leave the property for 3-4 weeks.

Yum. We buy them fairly often. Well not buy...bought several a while ago, $9kg, cut them in half (one is too big for us per meal) and froze them.
Too hot at the mo, we're mostly eating from the garden along with chicken and ham steak...salads, fresh corn etc.

Merry Christmas to you all. Quiet time for us as family are fairly well spread. Son and daughter-in-law will come for Christmas tea. Kebabs on the barbie, cold chicken, Perla potatoes, salads then my must have.... SWMBO makes a lovely rolled Pavlova and trifle.

Just look at Christmas the way I do....... On Saturday, it will be 364 days to Christmas.

    5..4..3..2..1.. you know what.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche
