Small parcel to Australia problem

International courier/freight is a mess at the moment. I've had 3 weeks to QLD multiple times in the last few months.

Just received a camera accessory (El Cheapo lens hood) from Ali-Express today that was ordered o 4/10/2020.....$9 delivered

In the meantime, thinking I wasn't going to get it, .I ordered and had delivered a genuine Canon one second hand from Trader for $24 (new price $69). Next day delivery from Christchurch.

To long a wait time Mr Ali Express, considering they notified me that it had been dispatched on the same day it was ordered.

Just ordered some Things From Aliexpress on Sunday 6th Dec, turned up today ( a week, would have been here yesterday but the couriers don't deliver on Sundays) , really impressed, while other things ordered mid November are still somewhere between here and there

Hope I can be impressed Have just ordered a phone case for my 3 yr old Sony phone from Ali. When I tried to get one here in Napier and also, Wellington a month ago, the phone cases guys all said I probably wouldn't get one here. No panic though on this. Because of that, it will probably be here next week!

Just ordered some Things From Aliexpress on Sunday 6th Dec, turned up today

its hit & miss ordering from Aliexpress. Some stuff is delivered fast, other things stay stuck in Ch courier depots for months
the widget I ordered October only turned up last week.

And then other stuff isnt sent & you're given a fake tracking number .

Aliexpress can be slow, I bought some soap, it came standard post from China and took ages....but my mums Zennioptical order also from China came very quick.....recently.

Now till after Xmas is likely to be slow...overseas and here with our ports/trucks issues.

Hopeless NZ post!

I fairly regularly send parcels, parcel post with tracking, within NZ. A couple of days at the most, and they are delivered. No problems.
