    Default Prints opposite orientation

I'm a bit stumped, almost lost interest. One laptop in the house prints portrait when setup as landscape and landscape when set to portrait.
    Obviously page setup and preferences
Printer has been deleted and reinstalled
Looked on Regedit when deleted and all instances had gone. Rebooted between delete and install
Occurs on Word, Notepad ++, Google Docs, on all logins
Same Google Doc ok on other devices
All other devices print as expected
Was accessing printer from problem laptop via cloud print, same problem still there on Wifi connection

    Any suggestions?

What brand and model printer? Operating system? Also is it happening from a particular program?
Will need this information to work out possible cause.

Brother MFC-J4620DW all on up to date Win10 devices but as stated other devices are all OK.
As stated occurs across on Word, Notepad ++, Google Docs, on all logins
Additionally prints a smaller font from that ASUS laptop.
Select and print same Google doc from smart phone and it prints as expected

Is it windows 10 Home Or Professional ??

Pro has more features than Home and options.

Stating the Obvious its something in the computer not the printer as the others print normally.

Check that the firmware of the printer is up to date and also the printer driver is the latest.
You can contact Brother themselves and see if they have a solution to your problem, either through their website

    https://www.brother.co.nz/customer-help/contact-us

or call their Helpdesk on 0800 329 111.

    do some basic tests
    control panel, devices & printers
right click the printer , printer properties , print test page . Does that print OK

Then look in printer properties , preferences ,
printer properties , advanced, printing defaults
    printer properties , device settings
Printer settings can be in more than one place , so check all those .

printer properties, advanced : check the driver is correct (and not a generic driver)

Hi 1101 well done, the clue for me was to print the test page which then made it obvious the printer driver had karked it somewhere along the way
Installed a new version and all is well now.

    Thanks heaps for your help
