What does halloween? Diwali have to do with NZ? But they're celebrated.
Shops have decided, well Americans go stupid over this day, and it's an excuse to tie in local $$$ to what would otherwise go overseas as well as our boxing day. Which is our traditional big selling day.

I love Halloween.
Black Friday...well it pays to know what things cost BEFORE the sale as there are some things that aren't really cheap.
But one shop will be selling mattresses for $99 and I need one, so I have their store bookmarked.
