WhatsApp for Windows failed to open

Well to save yourself pulling out more hair-- you're not going crazy --LOL

I replicated the problem.

On All four computers I tried (longtime, previously installed and working fine) The Whatsapp worked fine from the MS store.

On A fresh install of 2004 - didn't open, upgraded to 2009, still didn't open. So now its a case of look to see whats different.

As soon as I find it I'll post back.

Whats app sure wants to take permissions to extreme lengths requiring access to everything on your device and also any other device you have if you decide to install it.

WhatsApp has returned to normal!

I am now able to launch it with all my data intact.

Don't who has fixed it, WhatsApp or Microsoft??
