i figure a good reason to legalize is simply, can you imagine government carrying on they way they do with weed, if it were alcohol or tobacco?

history is not kind to alcohol prohibition.

can anyone really imagine organized and armed efforts to raid people's homes and confiscate all of the tobacco?

im sure a myriad of other perspectives for and against have already been articulated ad nauseum.

Legalization is an eternal dispute. Both sides will have their own arguments for and against. Opponents need to admit defeat after the verdict is delivered by the state. Nothing else is expected

you know thats not gonna happen. the old people are gonna keep dying and with them their decades of truma at the hands of government propaganda. when their ideas die, weed will become legal.

and thats only if the simplistic dogma of "VOTE NOPE TO DOPE" managed to gain mindshare.
