Default Pope: Market capitalism has failed in pandemic, needs reform

I enjoyed reading this, sums it all up really.

BM and other national party (lower case intentional) members will reject these common sense observations from the Pope out of hand of course.

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

Is this the same catholic church that protects pedophiles
that has huge net worth , that it ISNT giving to the poor
that puts the Church before the people
that see's females as being somehow less (its in the bible)
    that helped the nazi's

    generic speel :
    we should all be happy
there should be no starving or poor
everyone should have a home and a job
    there should be no racism
    I blame xxxxxx

Could replace blaming "market capitalism" , with religious dogma being part of the issue
    just meaningless dribble .

The market economy (capitalsim) , isnt perfect but is still the best system .
Other systems have been tried & failed . The problem is human nature, trying to ignore the way humans behave on average is a bit stupid.

Well ZQWERTY, seeing you want to ‘Call Me Out” let’s go.

Firstly: I have never voted National.

Secondly: Every one of those “On Line” Political polls I have ever filled in the details for I have wound up dead centre in the results, which bothers me.

Thirdly: I have never seen such an example of “Mentally Ill” in Politics as we have at the moment.
Well with all respect to the self confessed “Mentally Ill”, Politics isn’t your thing.

As for the Popes observations, I prefer Gloriavale, but think about their likeness.

This will help you understand politics ZQWERTY HERE

So, even more right wing than national then.

    A philosophically bereft iconoclastic reactionary.

An encyclical from the Pope is something to be treasured and ponder over, especially this pope who seems to me to be a wise man.

If you believe the Pope is infallible that is fine by me however this is the wrong place to try to push your personal belief on others.

I am antireligion but give the guy credit for his comments. He is unlikely to be able to change that church all on his own.

    Propaganda, a PR stunt.
lets take a closer look at this pope shall we

    https://qz.com/1374882/why-should-po...ty-of-reasons/
    from the above link
allegations that pope Francis knowingly protected a sexual predator
He’s condemned transgender rights and abortion
steadfastly upheld the Church’s opposition to birth control
pope’s claim this week that, if parents think their children are gay, they should arrange for the kids to seek psychiatric help

perhaps he's less evil than previous popes , that doesnt make things right
Talk is cheap. How about using the churches wealth to help the poor rather than talking about how capitalism has failed .
