Anyone know any builders in hawkes Bay, this one is beyond my abilities.

Need 4 weatherboards replaced.
My mum is having a meltdown - all my fault apparently. I scraped off some flaking paint (down to the bare wood flaking) it was painted about 4 years ago.
So of course I caused it...


Well, now I know why it's flaking...some was OK, I've patched and fixed, but 4 are beyond that....

One crowd replied so they won....a guy is coming today.
Bit dodgy...I looked her (owner of business) up and found:

Directors’ other main interests: The directors also own Lifestyle Marketing (Auckland) Ltd, which went into liquidation last October.

She now has this new company, here. Reviews are good but all involve building projects down in Auckland.

I suspect I got a reply as she is establishing down here...cause every other builder here is booked up and busy.


I have also concluded, it's going to have to be reclad eventually. That will be my brothers inheritance......joy.
All I can think of is a reverse mortgage.

Good builders are always busy, that's why they're booked up and you have to wait.

Good builders don't go into liquidation or have unpaid concrete bills...

She isn't the builder, she is the business owner.
The builder himself is doing great, nearly finished and a lovely job.

Builders often get left in the lurch.....

Well the builders were great, had some excellent tips and advice for future work too, they were on time, worked hard, cleaned up and left and excellent job. Will contact this crowd again when we can get the real work done.

Huh. Well that's good for you.

I look up tradespeople online, pick the ones with best reviews, and get crap service every time! Maybe I'm doing it the wrong way??
