We have a very noisy Tui who appears to be in love with his own reflection on our window. He makes a lot of noise and pecks loudly on the glass. Even our cat trying to get at him from our side of the glass has no effect on him whatsoever.

Can swap for some problem magpies that chase all other birds away and who have learnt to stay just out of range of my rifle.
It is really hard to find a worthy partner and build healthy and strong relationships.

I think there is no other option other than covering the Window not to see his own reflection. Otherwise he will be in trouble soon if your cat get to him suddenly..
