Default Do you switch off before the end?

We don't wait for the end of Seven Sharp. At about 7.25 when they go to a commercial break we switch off. All that's going to happen is four minutes of commercials then they come back just to say goodbye. Why should we wait just for that? But what gets us about it is that we may not be the only ones who switch off. So what about these advertisers who have a commercial in that spot? Should they be worried about this practice? I think that they should be.

Yep. Switch off. Some after the first couple of minutes.

What I was saying about the ads was that if other people switch off at the same time as we do, they won't see the ads and therefore the firms paying for the ads won't have their ads seen which might make them think that they are wasting their money.

I doubt it....ads are on at other times, tons of people watch them, the success of that **** company proves that..........you know the one, the Only $15 for your trial and you get a FRee Whatever We Couldn't Flog Off Last Time as well! place.

And the likes of the Cylinder Guy and such.....he used to have ads early morning now he has them prime time too.
Husband knew a guy who worked for him, they got a set fee for the install, the guy was raking it in.....

    Sadly TV ads work.
Even Husband says Oh SHould I get (x)? I hate them, especially the Ask Your Doctor If X is Right For You ones....

We don't like the ads. We have little idea what they are on about as we mute the ads. Much more bearable.

We do the same, TVNZ would go bust if it wasn't for Hardly Normal.

I tend to ignore the whole programme. HB especially, is on one hell of an ego trip
