voda wants to move me from adsl to wireless. What realistic speeds can I espect. Currently I have cabinet 50 mtr from my boundry and adsl is giving 60Mb down and 25 up. I do have fibre on the building so maybe that is the way to go?

Fibre all the way if you can. It will be much more stable
Vodafone keeps all the money if you are on wireless. Fibre or DSL they have to give Chorus a share as they own the network. That is why an ISP will encourage people to opt for wireless. I second Gary's advice Fibre all the way if possible.
Don't.
Go fibre.
Wireless is subject to congestion, I can tell you from personal experience, often resulting in worse speeds than adsl.
Fibre is great.

Sadly at our address we have no option but to have wireless and we are stuck with either Spark or the local Amuri.net who we might move to this summer. Vodadfone and 2D who we would like to use don't cover our location
Could be worse gary67....I had customers stuck on dialup, no line of sight for satellite, no wireless coverage, nothing.

True thankfully we are not that bad

I've told Spark to stop pestering me to do this. I want fibre as my next upgrade, not an interim wireless. I also don't think 4G covers my area of town.
I don't get any calls from them now.
For what its worth, my wireless broadband here in Auckland gives me speeds about the same as you are getting with your VDSL.
I haven't noticed congestion problems in the evenings. Just in the last couple of weeks we have watched about ten online NZ Film Festival movies, and they all came through fine, no disturbances at all, and this is in the 8 to 10 pm time slot. Resolution set to 720p option.
