With the Computer completely off (not reboot) then turn on does the screen show any message Eg: No Signal, or change from off Black to slightly lighter, OR Show the BIOS Screen, anything at all ?
I tells me that there is "No signal, change your video cable" then blackness. I'm getting power to the pc and even the led light is on the monitors
Do you have the monitor set to receive the correct input. HDMI etc
If you have another PCI slot for your Video Card try that
Does the Motherboard have any “On Board” graphic facilities you can try?
i.e. a socket that looks the same as the one on the Video Card you’ve been using.

.
The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living.
Along those lines make sure the cable is actually plugged into the Graphic Card, NOT the onboard.
The Graphic card will over ride the onboard, and its VERY easy to plug into the wrong port - Its happened to MANY people ( myself included) when plugging in cables in bad light.
Take it back for warranty repair ?
Otherwise: does the keyboard numlock/capslock LED turn on/off when you press numlock/caps lock
if no : the PC is not booting up .
When you first turn on the PC, do you see the bios splash screen , or any screen activity before it goes black?
- might be a weird Win10 fastboot issue stopping the PC starting correctly .
Hi,
I too am having that same problem now. I installed a fresh installation of Windows 10 1607 and upgraded to 2004 last night. Today, it was running perfectly; so I thought! I shutdown the computer and decided to work in the garden this afternoon. Came back later to switch the PC on, and the windows flag appeared then the rotating dots, then NOTHING! Sitting at the PC thinking it was doing some updates so waited for 1/2 hour. Ended up starting and shutting the PC down numerous times, trying to enter in Safe mode.
Funny thing is, some of the options from the website (example): https://support.microsoft.com/en-nz/...c-in-safe-mode are not available. Just want to enter safe boot so I can disable the video card driver...(if this is the culprit) Now just finished reinstalling a fresh installation of Windows AGAIN, and now the same thing as above has happened after I shutdown the computer completely. Now back to square 1.
Any ideas or what buttons to press to get to safe mode?
Cheers
