Theres several ways.
One is to use an online down loader, something like https://www.getfvid.com/ You open the page, then in another tab on Facebook, right click the video you want, select "Show Video URL" highlight the url, copy and paste it in the other page ( down loader) Then download, it opens in a new window, then right click the playing video, save as - and save it to your computer.
You can also use a download manager - some work better than others as Facebook Blocks them.
If you are wanting to download lots of things you can get a Actual Download Program. Again some work better than others, the one I use is IDM https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/ It captures Videos and most other things from many places when some of the free ones wont. Its got a Free trial, the payment is one off.

No Problem. I got the lifetime IDM $30, saves most things. FB is sometimes a bother but everything else 9 out of 10 works.
Here's a video of IDM downloading a Music Video on Youtube in real time ( its not sped up) The Download Button is Blue, top right of the Music Video

And just for the hell of it ( might keep B.M. Happy)

Hi bk T, I have not tried this on Facebook, as I have not had the need, however, on YouTube I have very successfully downloaded heaps of useful videos re Affinity Photo. The program I use is Real Downloader, which comes under the umbrella of Real Times, along with Real Viewer. After you download the basic free app, then you get in the middle of your browser, a tab. Very first hit on the tab, you get a speil, but the next hit, you get options of quality etc for your download. The results go into your main drive in the Videos folder under RealTimes. Occasionally, you get suggestions of an upgrade. For me, it is great! For you?
