    Default Mobile phone password

I found my old Nokia Windows Mobile cell phone in a drawer, and when I powered it on it still had about 80% charge - after about 2 years, which I thought was quite impressive. However it then asked for a password and would not accept the one I entered. I have no idea what else it would be, so my question is: is there any way I can get into the phone?
I suspect the answer is I am SOOL, but it's worth asking.

Will that reset the password as well?
I'm also not sure how to do that if I can't get into it in the first place.

With most mobiles you press the power key in abd hold it for 20 seconds or so and a menu will appear giving several options one of which will do what you want. Try your phone and model in Google and it should come up with some device specific instructions.

Thanks everyone, and to YouTube, which came to the rescue (as usual). I now have a reset phone that I can get into. It's not all good though, as I can't download the app I was going to use because the Windows phone app store no longer exists. D'oh!

The plan was to keep the old phone in the car, and just use it for navigation. There is a maps app on the phone, but if I want voice directions, I need to get them from somewhere. Any ideas about how I might do that, seeing as the Windows store is not there?

Good idea, but unfortunately my wife is no longer with us, and she was actually a pretty bad map reader.
