    Win10 home is only $50

All you'll get is an install key emailed to you
    . Nothing else

These sites doing heavy discounts on MS products make me nervous
You know there's something not quite right when they are selling at less than 1/2 usual price. MS doesnt do discounting like that.

So factor in the chance that there's something not quite kosher .
Plenty of places selling install keys at far too cheap pricing

I'm inclined to agree with 1101 on this. It looks too cheap to be true. However in saying that some times PB Tech sell Office 365 personal licenses for about $70..

That bothered me also, so I tried to access the deal through the www,pcworld.com website. Couldn't find it at first, then did a search for "Windows 10 Pro" from the PCWorld site - it gave a list of links, one of which was to the Windows Pro offer at the discount price.

The offer states that as well as the installation key you can download the ISO, shown as 50GB.

    Could be real?

Only a guess, but people these days are using Android and Apple phones for all of the work they would have previously done on a computer, maybe sales are going down and MS is trying to boost them by discounting.

Had two people in specialist shops selling stationery tell me that they didn't know what a DVD/CD/R writing pen was, and that cdr and dvdr were not being used much at all these days as people just use their phones.

Non-system disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready.

Not really, just shows how much of a markup there's is.

That's like anything, these places that have big sales, they sure as hell aren't going to sell items at a lose.

We brought a couple of Fancy beds a few weeks back, Bigsave were having a 50% sale, they cost us $1000 each, so just how much markup is on them ??

    From the horses mouth

"Microsoft does not distribute products keys as standalone products. If you see a listing on an auction site, online classified ad, or other online page advertising product keys, itís a good indication that these keys are likely stolen or counterfeit."

The keys are probably genuine, but obtained in some dodgy way . Either keys not intended for retail , or possibly keys bought from a country where they are cheaper
So who really knows where these keys come from. MS certainly do , but are keeping quiet.

MS can at any time deactivate keys on masse , leaving your Win10 in a deactivated state . They did that with Xp , many dodgy installs suddenly came up as 'pirated'
They also often do that with pirated MS Office keys , one day its deactivated & no longer works

Perhaps they are really just Win7 keys (which do work in Win10) ?
If the price seems too damn cheap......

Microsoft Do sell really cheap Keys, BUT they are for certain organizations, Education, Charity etc. AND you have to prove that you are eligible for them, so you cant just type in a Credit card and get them.
