wainui, My Canon inkjet has finally packed up. I am going to replace it with a Laser. I notice you have this Brother Printer and would be interested in your comments.

I know it is a bit flash for home use but I don't want to waste money on a cheap laser.

Lets say a picture is better than words, so here's two.

It prints Black ONLY but will scan in black or Color.





What I like about it is its Wifi, Ethernet (which I use) or USB connections.

That's the numbers on the Printer, the photo is mine same numbers /letters as posted and corresponding software installed.

I've had an older B&W Brother laser ptr/scanner with similar features and it has been an excellent buy.

Thanks for the link. It looks bigger than the photo you posted but it looks like it will do the job for me.

I have one on order. Always had inkjets so this will be a new adventure.

One thing you will find is the toners don't disappear when not being used, you can leave them for months and they will be at the same capacity, inks evaporate.

That is good to hear.

It appears that it will be as easy to set up as my previous inkjets
