    it actually doesn't charge the battery up 100% and if they sit undercharged for a long time they tend to degrade.
    always a good thing to charge it fully with a battery charger. you can notice how much easier it is to start after its been charged up.

    I agree I have 7 step smart charger 5A which is needed with calcium lead acid batteries I plug this on the bus as its sitting in the winter after I have given the bus an engine run.
    Its amazing how Potatoes give us chips,fries and Vodka.

    Well we've done that for years.....don't find ourselves buying batteries all the time. MY mums last one lasted ages......years and years. The one she has now is less than a year old.

    new batteries are fine if you drive once a week....my mum doesn't go out that much, only over lockdown she had that one issue.
    There is a constant 35mA drain from the battery in my car when the car is parked and the key out of the ignition switch, so I run a trickle charger on it all the time.

    depends on what length trips you do.
    most people never drive long enough for a full charge to happen ie hours of driving not minutes.
