I appreciate by virtue of your gender you know it all ...

...but that's a huge assumption. At some point we'll both find out.

Quite soon for me if I don't stop eating iso-bacon sandwiches lol

Life after death - saying it is nonsense, just examine the words.

Life is hard then you die.

Nobody said it would be easy.

For some people that it is going to stop completely is a blessed relief.

No-one finds out. Once you are dead you know nothing and learn nothing. Because you are now not.

It's a kind of arrogance to think the universe revolves around humans, and we're somehow special
And the idea of the universe continuing on without us, without caring, without noticing is more than some people can handle.

I'm arrogant because I dispute you claiming knowing the impossible based on nothing but an assumption.

    How quaint.

Though I do agree agree the universe, whatever it is, will carry on, without caring.

It's not an assumption, it's a lack of evidence to the contrary. And some small evidence to the fact of nothingness.
whereas, gods, heavens, hells , alternate planes of existence and the rest have zero evidence.

gods, heavens, hells etc - ridiculous nonsense generated in the collective human imagination.

Like saying that the mind exists without a functioning body when in fact it is an emergent phenomena, that is when the brain is complex enough then a mind can function in the brain.
