    Default Worldwide Deaths

The following is rather sobering but it puts things into perspective:

Do you reckon those somewhat vague statistics would be better with a few decimal points salt & peppered around?

    "Where will it end?"

2nd wave of coronavirus may be more virulent, and global warming will eliminate many more. Just because a bit of airborne pollution has reduced does not mean the threat is over, 40 or 50 years of build up still coming down the tracks, ie plenty of lag in the system.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

Several rounds of the Plague, when people had no idea of the cause, no treatments, didn't kill off the humans. Now? I think not.

Good idea. Then multiply the answer by 1 if you need further convincing.

I wonder if anyone has statistics on the numbers not killed by road and work accidents or crime because of the lock down. I suspect more lives have been saved than lost. A lot more!

So, let's have a permanent lock-down and to heck with viruses.
