The mum doesn't need a mask. Masks are to stop others coughing, sneezing, spitting 9when talking) etc over them.
In this house my mum is 88, she's OK really. Husband is almost 72, he has lung problems and artery/heart problems.
He's not panicking either, we just went out, he went in to buy beer and I was looking for a packet of seeds....had to buy my seeds online in the end, apparently there's panic buying of seeds and veg seedlings too now.
I had a look to see which (no not the leeks, they just didn't have any (no label)), the empty slots were corn, tomatoes, lettuce, silverbeet, caulis and such.
Er.......it's autumn, too late for tomatoes and corn, and lettuce? Hmmm, not exactly my choice for a famine garden.
Plenty of parsnip seeds, and parsnips and swedes are an autumn thing actually. LOL.
