    Default Laser Printer

Thinking of getting a Mono Laser Printer to replace my Inkjet. I was looking at a Brother DCP1610W which is compact, but I don't like the idea of an open paper tray.

To overcome this it looks like the next alternative is a much larger printer with appears to be overkill. There doesn't appear to be anythings in between.

Some of the comments I have read about the DCP1610W poor performance don't inspire confidence either. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for a Laser with a closed paper tray.

Take a look at the Brother HLL2375DW ($186.37 at Ascent Technology). Its appearance seems identical to the HL-2270DW I have been using for years, paper storage is in a drawer in the base. I find it perfect for quick mono printing, and it offers WiFi, ethernet & USB connection.
