Could somebody please help us to recover computer.

My daughter stopped using her Windows 10 Netbook a few months ago. Now, the computer displays the following message after she turns the computer on:

Basically the boot loader is damaged.

Have a read of the following article. https://www.partitionwizard.com/disk...xc0000098.html

If you don't have a Windows DVD /USb then what you can try is press the start button to turn on the computer, as soon as it starts to load press and hold the start button again ( causing it to shut down, repeat a couple of times and on the third time hopefully it will boot into the recovery options then repair as the article. System Restore often will work on this type of error ( unless its a bad Drive) OR system restore has been turned off.
Update / Upgrades = Replace old bugs with new ones.

@ wainuitech: Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately none of the steps recommended in the article was helpful.

OK bit of a long shot, but had similar yesterday and this fixed it. ( and had similar boot problems as well previously - ALWAYS caused by faulty HDD's)

Mine was caused by a customers HDD going bad with dead sectors, after imaging nothing would boot not even the original W7, its as if the OS had totally disappeared (but it didn't -- this was windows 7 to be upgraded to 10)

On a working PC install Macrium Reflect ( its actually backup / imaging software) https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree Make the bootable CD, on the effected PC boot from that CD.

The follow the instructions from this article (its slightly different but close enough to figure out - COULD also be under Other Tasks, but it IS there) https://kb.macrium.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50168.aspx

Just a note, when booting from the CD it sometimes takes several minutes to boot, you'll get a dark screen but you should hear the optical drive working.
