    Default Outlook problem

    Outlook 2010.
    Not displaying pics, and links?
Tried all the usual fixes - inc what googling advised as well) and still nothing.

Last time she installed it, those fixes worked, we are at a loss as to why it won't this time.
    Any ideas?

Thats pretty much standard for Outlook2010 , default security setting
With my Outlook 2010, simply just right click on the blocked pics/links & click 'download pictures'

1st response - and being honest - couldn't be stuffed rewriting everything out again earlier

OH and did say hope you were feeling better after your fall the other day.

As 1101 posted:Forum keeps resetting & replies disappear

For example have you recreated the user profile in both Outlook or windows ?

That comment ( the windows part- Outlook profile is basic stuff) came from reading this post, several good suggestions and one that for some god knows why worked. 2110020-outlook-2010-not-displaying-images

Assuming you have tried the most obvious fix for the links - change the default browser back to Internet Explorer - If you have chrome installed that can really fowl up Outlook. ( gotta ask)

BUT one comment relating to the original post
    Tried all the usual fixes
That's really vague, Usual fixes - how many is that and which ones, there are plenty of suggestions and certain not all have been tried. That's right up there with customers comments {insert person} Knows all about computers but they cant fix it - and I feel like saying so why are you calling me if they know everything.

    This always makes me smile

Because I couldn't be bothered typing them all out. Still can't.

All the go into various settings in Outlook, adjust them, tick boxes, security stuff - you know the ones. And the registry fixes. And even run through the office install again and check all the extras there as will, in case something was affecting it from that.

    Trust Center Settings,
    Show picture placeholders

    all those sort of thing....

The fall.....not really, CT scan tomorrow and I will find out wth I did to the skull by ear.
Chin, it's meant to be not swollen now according to Dr Google but nah, I still have this yellow witch chin thing. Bit like a wolf snout poking out.

Very lumpy. Pity it's not Halloween.
