As a person who has not used the old one, did the same as piroska.

Loaded up the two side by side, worked through various sections on each. Not really bothered. Personally I liked the newer one better.

First thing that comes to mind - EXACTLY the same thing as Windows, changes are made and people don't like things changing, BUT have an open mind about it and its not that bad.

I had a brilliant example of that the other day, put Windows 10 on a new PC in, the person said its so hard to use -REALLY-- OK lets try this - fired up W7 and W10 put them side by side- when doing certain tasks on both it was --- OH its not that different after all, in fact W10 looks easier in some ways-------- The metservice site will be the same

ONLY thing that may be different is it may display differently in a phone than a real computer.

Some of us dont live in their phones.

Well this town still isn't on the Metservice so will stick with yr.no as that has every small town in the world it seems even my old tiny village in England.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for it to grow on me.

I liked that the old one would show me a days weather on a single screen width, whereas now there's a fair bit of left-right scrolling needed.

Personally I don't like new 'skins'... if they don't bring any added functionality they're just toying with layout, and creating inefficiencies for 1 million or so daily users.

Don't mind the new one, didn't mind the old one. Not sure why they felt the need to change but I'm happy either way.
I use the app on my phone not the website so it didn't change.

What does annoy me, and a few others going by the feedback on the play store, is that I paid for the original met service android app to get it add free then they decided to only have one version and make it free for everyone, and put adds in it.
It's not much money, but it's still irritating.

Yep, new curtains won't fix fat, leaky, broken windows, and new wallpaper isn't going to fix a broken wall. (Lotto numbers are more likely to be right than Met numbers. )
